NBA All-Star 2016 is a weeklong basketball celebration that is one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year and features a full slate of events designed to make the host city the basketball capital of the world. For more than 15 years, the NBA has been committed to economic inclusion by identifying women and minority-owned businesses among the local suppliers that it works with to bring All-Star week to life. NBA All-Star 2016 will be no different as our NBA All-Star 2016 Supplier Diversity Program looks to expand opportunities for enterprises based in Toronto – our host city – that are capable of delivering exceptional goods and services in one or more of our targeted commodity areas.
The NBA will work with local community groups, business and professional associations and certifying agencies to identify and invite suppliers to apply for the program. Successful applicants will be included in our registry which will be made available to the NBA’s internal business units and partners. This registry will be the central source for identifying local providers of goods and services.
